andy_geovision 0 Posted February 14, 2008 There are a couple reasons for you have " No privilege " on the webcam. 1. Check your account status. In the GeoVision System, go to Configure icon >> Password Setup >> Local Account Edit. Please create a new UserID as supervisor and try it. 2. Recording by schedule. If you have setup a schedule for recording, check the following. Otherwise, skip this step. In the GeoVision System, go to Schedule icon >>Schedule Edit. Did you put a check mark right next to " view ". 3. Remote Authentication. Did you accidentally setup an remote authentication server? In the GeoVision System, go to Configure icon >> Password Setup >> Remote Authentication Setup. Did you see the following window? If you did, please let me know... 4. Reset passwords. In the GeoVision System, go to Configure icon >> Password Setup >> Local Account Edit. Check a box called " allow removing password system. Close the GV system. Go to C:\GV folder\ PassUnInstall.exe. shanekennedy 0 Posted April 9, 2008 i'm getting the "no privlege error" using remote-view & webcam view doesn't appear to be a acct/password issue. when i turn off scheduled recording, it works i have 2 schedules, & both have the "view" box checked schedule 1 is for camera 1 & 2. they both work w/ remote view. it's on motion-detect all day from 00:00 to 00:00 schedule 2 is for camera 3. it doesn't work w/ remote view. it's on motion-detect from 21:00PM until 08:00AM the time & camera #'s are the only difference in the 2 schedules any suggestions? shanekennedy 0 Posted April 12, 2008 think i found my problem it appears you can only view a scheduled camera during it's schedule so i can only view my cam3 between 21:00 & 08:00 if i try to view @ 20:00, i get the "no privlege" error is this a bug or a feature ? is there some way to remotely view the camera 24 hrs a day, but only record between 2100 & 800 ?
