It supports one channel only and is suitable for long distance outdoor environment monitoring. it uses camera video as input signal and then output the recognition results, capture images and live video through TCP/IP to the GV LPR or GV LPR Center. GV IR CAMERA FV IR Camera is a weatherproof 24/7 IR camera specially designed for the LPR/ANPR application on the reflective license plates. It provides excellent license plate images even in the bad weather condition or in the night time. We have three types of GV IR camera.. GV IR camera 10 < usually used for Parking lots > GV IR camera 20 < usually used on the streets > GV IR camera 30 < usually used in the highway > Any LPR questions, please let me know... mclosely 1 Posted September 19, 2008 Can the IRCAM's be used for license plate recognition effectivley without using your LPR software? We currently use your v8.2 with our DVR's. If I utilized the IRCAM can I expect good results (day and night) or would I still need the LPR software? Also, we will be looking at vehicles stopped at a gate.
