hyouhaku 0 Posted May 21, 2013 Hi all, I just bought the lorex lnr280 with 4x 1080p cameras and figured out that I cannot just plug the cameras into my switch(with poe) for some strange reason. So my question is: is there any custom firmware available out there that allows me to change network configuration of the nvr?
zikronix 0 Posted May 21, 2013 switch needs to be a poe switch default ip of cameras are 192.0.0.64 username admin pass 000000 put your computer on the same subnet and then you can access the cameras via the web
seawiiz 0 Posted May 27, 2013 I got the same system. Set it up as instructed and can access intranet ok. Internet unsuccessful. Have to wait for holiday to call Lorex for technical assistance. I think the ddns account they setup is not correct. The instruction is confusing and is not complete.

No custom firmware is need to access the nvr on the network.
